One mistake and you have to start all over again. Not to mention the need for a good microphone and a quiet place to record yourself. Its no wonder that a good quality code walkthrough can take hours to make!
With KlipMaker's latest new “Code Walkthrough” tool, you can now automate the entire process. Generate walkthrough videos in seconds. KlipMaker will create a brief outline of what the code does, followed by a line-by-line description of the functionality and main methods and a summary description in the end.

Simply select “Code Walkthrough” and paste any code you want to use. Use markdown syntax to specify a title to your video and mark out the code that needs to be annotated.
Once the video is generated it can easily be saved on your device or shared to YouTube.
How does this work you might ask?
We use OpenAI ChatGPT API under the covers to parse the source code and generate textual descriptions that explain functionality. This process currently takes a few seconds to run. Once generated, the annotations are aligned with the original code listing. We then render all assets using our custom image rendering service . As a final step, the annotations are converted to audio file assets and everything is rendered into a finished video.
